January

I was just wondering if anyone else likes January. I hear more people say they dislike it. I like the peaceful quietness after a busy few months. It isn't my favorite month - I dislike driving in winter weather, for example - but I like it more than November as it's gradually getting lighter again and the first hints of the spring to come start to show.

I also like its quietness. I like seeing the days grow a little bit lighter.

It’s February I hate, and the first half of March. It’s getting lighter and you feel it should be getting a teensy bit warmer, but then it fucking snows or something.

When I’m retired I’m planning on spending February and March somewhere warm.

I like January. I see it as a fresh start and it gives me a new boost of motivation.

I think it helps that I’m not waiting for payday as that seems to be most peoples gripe with it.

I'm quite looking forward to it. I'm seeing it as its own month, rather than worrying about what comes after.

Its gonna be cold and cosy. January is for hard work and cosy evenings with dd. I wanna try and wake up with the sunrise if poss
