*Unfrazzle

I need to get from either Finsbury Park or Kings Cross to Northumberland park. How am I doing this please? I can see the little line going up from Seven Sisters. Do I get off and change trains?.

When your train comes in, it will either have Edmonton Green as its destination, or the station at the end of the longer line. If it has Edmonton Green, you stay on. If it has the other destination, you change at Seven Sisters. Or alternatively wait at Kings Cross or Finsbury Park for the next train that goes to Edmonton Green

ETA hang on. You might need to ignore me. Where's that map from? I just looked at the tube map and they're two different lines. Why are yours both blue?

TheTealZebra · 29/12/2024 21:43

I would get off and take the bus! W3 is direct from Finsbury park to Northumberland park station but takes a long route round. Otherwise the 259 is quicker but you might need to walk a bit depending on where in Northumberland park you are heading to

Is it overground? I think that’s where I’m getting confused. Am I staying overground or going underground?

Get off at 7sis and take the bus

Several options I think 149,259,279, 349

should only be about 10 mins

its bus stop d I think as it’s the stop I use to get home 🤣🤣

ChaChaChaChanges · 29/12/2024 21:43

I was going to suggest the bus too.

You need to change from the Victoria line to an overground train at 7 Sisters. You'll need to leave the tube station and walk round the corner; it's signposted.

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 29/12/2024 21:44

Okay. Seven Sisters is underground yes?

Fupoffyagrasshole · 29/12/2024 21:44

It’s underground you’ll be on the Victoria line tube from Finsbury Park or kings to get to 7sis

Dinnerplease · 29/12/2024 21:45

(And yes as pp say the bus is probably better, I don't think the trains are all that frequent).

LittleRedRidingHoody · 29/12/2024 21:47

You do need to change at Seven Sisters because it's not the same line (just almost the same colour, very frustrating!)

Weaver Line is part closed tomorrow, so you'll need to get a bus. I recommend downloading CityMapper before you go, it'll give you real time updates :)

Circumferences · 29/12/2024 21:50

Edmonton green is not on the tube

I'm not sure what map you've posted but TFL have a better one

Google maps says the Victoria line to Seven Sisters, then the 149 bus to Tottenham Sports Centre, then a one minute walk to Northumberland park.

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 29/12/2024 22:05

That citymapper app is brilliant. Thank you for that.

Download the app CityMappers. It tells you where to sit, what exit to get off etc.
