Cocktails near Regent St, London - where to go?

Looking for somewhere to have a drink or two near Regent Street tomorrow about 4pm for an hour or so. Looking for a bar rather than pub and somewhere we won't be deafened with awful music! Hotel bar or Independent bar would be great. Will be dressed smart casual. Thanks

The bar in the Langham hotel. It is lovely. You may need to remortgage if you want more than a few drinks though…

The bar at Brasserie Zedel - there’s a small one upstairs but you really want to go to the American Bar downstairs. Brilliant.

I agree with the American Bar at Zedel. Also try Sketch on Conduit St (just off Regent St) - also very cool! Enjoy and please let us know what you thought of them!

I would go to the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, (not too far from Regent Street! ) they have a rooftop bar which overlooks the Market. Wrap up warm.

I quite like the bar attached Hawksmoor on Air St by Piccadilly. Wood panel classic style. If you don’t like it, you are a couple of minutes walk away from Bar Zedel as above.

The Langham has two bars. Artesian is lovely and expensive, The Wigmore used to be nice was kind of gross (sticky tables, loads of very drunk men) the last time I was there.

Oxford Market in market place behind Oxford street. Nice cocktails and fun relaxed vibe.
