Can I recommend M&S Big Mix. Nice thick chocolate, shiny wrappers, toffees that will take out your fillings, coffee creams.

I wonder how many people would pay that if they used the original recipes, tins and wrappers? No idea. I suppose if it were feasible, the manufacturer would have launched it.

I’ll check out the M&S ones next Dec.

I would pay more than that to get the Roses or Quality St of my youth. The cherry one in Roses, the long swirly praline one was that QS or Roses? Called noisette I think. So many flavours gone. We had one tin. Every family I knew was either a Roses family or a Quality Street family and had one (much fuller though) tin to last over Christmas . One year we had a tin of each, I think the roses had been a present, very exciting. We also usually had a box of Terry’s Neapolitans from my Grandmother. O happy days.

I've given the M&S big mix a good go and they are ok but nothing special. The orange creams weren't good at all in my box.
My M&S milk chocolate champagne truffles were great though and my Fortnum and Mason ones are waiting to be savoured.
