Weight lose journey

Newlife2025 · 29/12/2024 10:38

So i have decided I'm going to try and lose some weight. I have tried in the past but give up. But I don't tell anyone I'm doing it. I thought if I tell someone ie MN I might stick to it 🤣

I'm.not very good at excise I get out of breath very easy . I can't even walk a flight of stairs. It's odd though because last night I was on the Wii (sort of) dancing . Well I was moving anyway. So I may use that as a form of excises.

I have done a shop with better type food that comes today and I'm going to do a little batch cooking . I also orded folic acid and iron tablets.

I'm cutting right back on coke and having 1 can a day. After my full water intake.

So I'm starting at 15 stone i think will weigh every Saturday..

Best of luck on your journey. And it is a journey, I started 4 months ago and even now I have to resist when walking past stalls selling donuts or cookies or chocolate covered waffles, as I had to do yesterday when we came across a Christmas fair while out in Blackpool. I have come to realise dieting is 1% exercise, 5% healthy eating / cutting out all sugar and fat / cutting back on the carbs and 99% phycological. And it’s the phycological bit nobody works on. It’s really easy to give in to temptation, all you need is an excuse like ‘well I’ve been good all week, one cookie won’t make a difference’, or my favourite ‘you need to have a bit of fun’. For me I resist these excuses by telling myself the ultimate goal is getting down to target and nothing can get in the way of that. Good luck if I can offer any further advise don’t hessite to get in touch.

Thank you for replying. I feel like im not going on about actual diet . I'm just making changes really. My eating has been really bad . I have been eating lots of processed crap basically Iceland food and throwing it in the air fryer . So I'm replacing that with proper meat , fresh chicken , mince beef, lamb, beef. And making proper meals.

I was drinking 6-8 cans of coke a,day i don't need to be doing that . So i may have 1 a day.

My chocolate/sweet craving will be a low calorie hot chocolate.

I agree in the phycological side to it . One cookie can easy lead to another cookie and so on. That's sort of why im allowing myself the hot chocolate from the start. I feel if I was overly strict I would give up. So I'm allowing hot chocolate to be my thing.

I'm starting too. I have already started a post yesterday about this too! A lot needs to change for me but it's day 1 of many. I've just had 3 scrambled eggs and some
Water. I've removed all the Xmas sweets into the utility room and there they shall stay !

Today is day 1. I decided at 3am this morning to sort my weight. I got up at 9am to go and baby sit for a few hours. I did an on line food shop early hours. That's coming later so I can meal prep. I still have some Xmas stuff but I don't touch it. Kids will demolish it soon enough

I keep thinking about food especially chocolate cake 😭

Today I have eaten:

2 weetabix
2 oranges
2 banana
Can of coke
1 hot chocolate
Tomato ,pasta chicken meal.
Water as well

I seemed to have missed lunch. I'm so used to constantly grazing on shit.
