Went to a preview tonight at the cinema - it was brilliant. Sad, funny and interesting.

I saw the trailer and thought it looked better than I expected.

I went to see it this evening and also was pleasantly surprised!

I went this afternoon, I thought it was brilliant. I've loved Take That since they started out and if I'm being honest always found Robbie a bit irritating and self obsessed.. After watching it I now feel bad for that opinion. I wonder who was behind the idea of the Chimp?
Completely different to any other pop star movie betrayal I've ever seen but it really worked.

Haven't seen it yet. Glad to hear it's good. I like Robbie.

DS saw it yesterday, no interest in take that or Robbie at all, but even he said it was a really good film.

My husband said the same.

I saw it on Friday and really loved it. Very emotional in places.

You might understand why he’s self obsessed if you did decide to watch it and his wife doesn’t feature.

I watched this yesterday and I felt sad, sad that when I was such a massive fan, to the point of madness with lust for him, that he was really suffering when performing for us - I guess that's why (he chose?) to be a performing monkey? His life is calmer now it seems - I think maybe he'll be back in the limelight again - hopefully this time with all the tools to handle it well.

I saw it a while ago, I enjoyed it too. I felt very sorry for him being so young and coping with so much pressure.
I also said I would be very keen to see the same story told by the other people's perspectives because I thought it was a very sanitised version of how it must have been to be around him when he was.most addicted and chaotic.
It also covers only a few years and it's amazing what he went through in a short period of time
I then watched the Netflix documentary which talks through his life (and you can see where the film was adapted to make a film). And covers much more time. I loved when Teddy was in it. He was watching a video of himself singing. 'Who's that Daddy?' And when he told her she couldn't watch some clips because she was too young. Seeing him just being Dad was lovely.

The soundtrack is awesome too. On heavy repeat at the moment for me.
