Comfy school shoes for autistic DD

Hi

Dd is super funny about her feet and shoes. She goes to a quite formal secondary school. She often stubs her toes, has feet problems and gets me to sign in her book to wear trainers.

Her head of year said the other day that if she was going to wear trainers this frequently she should get black ones, which seems fair enough, but it got me thinking that there should be a style of shoe that she can tolerate all the time

So I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a smart / comfy / trainerish shoe that she can wear (possibly as a reasonable adjustment if I can't find something suitably mainstream)

Thanks!

DD1 (who is also ND) wears Air force 1s - they’re allowed at the school anyway. She finds the very comfy.

My dd wears black Skechers trainers.

Skechers. Really comfy.
Some have arch support if that's needed.
The memory foam insoles make them comfortable for all day wear.

Has she seen a podatrist and/or physio?

My DD has similiar issues and has been told she needs to wear trainers with ‘rockers’, means they go up at the front so she is less likely to trip herself up.
