Random worry about being ill on flight

Having spent most of last night in the bathroom with diarrhoea I've just had a crazy worry. Can you imagine being on a long haul flight and having the trots?! What would happen while you hog the toilet for 3 hrs straight? There are usually only a few toilets on board. Would the staff have immodium type medicine available? I am ensuring I pack immodium for every method of public transport I use in future!! I've made it worse by goggling and see an awful story about a Delta Airlines flight which had to turn around with an ill passenger. Apparently the carpets had to be ripped up and new one put down before they could embark on the journey for the second time , seriously holy shit!!! 😳 💩 🙈

Yes I can imagine it.
I had a woman sitting next to me on a flight back to Australia with dreadful food poisoning a few years back. It was hell for her, poor thing 🤮

This did indeed happen to me. I came down with food poisoning and spent the whole flight in the plane looking crying and shitting 😂😂 I then got to the resort and it took me days to venture out. My partner at the time gave our maid hefty tips each day for changing our sheets as it really was a if I moved I "leaked" situation 🤭

You poor thing babycatsmummy, that is the stuff of nightmares 😷pp And other people knowing about your explosions is so embarrassing 😳
Thinking about it now, it must be fairly common when travelling long haul as there is often poor sanitation in a lot of popular destinations. I imagine the return flights are full of bugs.

I would be. Careful with Imodium, if you have a stomach bug it’s really better to just let it ‘run’ its course. I took Imodium with a stomach bug as I needed to be in the office for training. What it did was cause my stomach to swell up with wind and I had to keep running to the loo to fart as I couldn’t trust any farts! It eas so painful and I’d not touch it again.

Oh I remember that situation with food poisoning. I was lucky as I wasn’t travelling, poor you. I remember putting sanitary towels in my underwear like a make shift nappy liner and tying and old towel round me like a terry nappy! I also refuse to live in a house without more than 1 loo.
