New kindle help!

Hi all

I've received a new kindle for Xmas. Have set it up but it won't let me purchase books from the store. Says "currently unavailable". I can still purchase from my old one (other than it booting me out every other touch) so I don't understand why I can't on the new one. Can anyone help or advise please?

This is from the Amazon kindle help forum:

"I had this issue. All books 'Currently Unavailable'. It was resolved by deregistering the device. Then reregistering using my Kindle and not through my mobile. And hey presto, we are now working!
