I would usually have a piece of toast but it was profiteroles and fresh cream today and very nice too!

I had smoked salmon terrine toast as there’s loads of it to eat up today.

Starlightstarbright4 · 26/12/2024 12:24

Not yet . I don’t tend to eat breakfast I am on black coffee

Beezknees · 26/12/2024 12:24

Bagels and a snowball.

BobbyBiscuits · 26/12/2024 12:25

Awesome! I'm not having breakfast other than a tea, which is normal for me. I'm going to be eating a load of leftovers later so bracing myself for that! 🤣

MauveVelcro · 26/12/2024 12:25

Nope.

The kids have had pop tarts (from their stockings). Dh and I have had coffee. I'm not even close to being hungry yet after yesterday, I probably won't eat until we have dinner at 5ish.

MadamePeriwinkle · 26/12/2024 12:32

We had a lie in so had brunch about an hour ago - pain is with turkey, pigs in blankets, Brie and cranberry sauce 😋

TubeScreamer · 26/12/2024 12:38

Swedish tea bread, cheese, blueberries
very nice it was too

Peridot1 · 26/12/2024 12:38

I had a ham sandwich at around 8 as was up early. Then a coffee and a mince pie at 11. Contemplating what to have for lunch…… a turkey sandwich probably. Or pate on toast.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 26/12/2024 12:39

Cheese, ham and coleslaw bagel and trifle for breakfast pudding

StMarie4me · 26/12/2024 12:39

Christmas cake! But I did manage a 14 hr fast before I did lol.

Wickedstitch · 26/12/2024 12:46

Late breakfast of cold turkey, pork, chestnut and cranberry stuffing with apple sauce.
Enjoyed it more than the hot roast yesterday.

Letstoast · 26/12/2024 12:48

We stayed over at my in-laws for Christmas and breakfast was leftover homemade Indian food DH's uncle brought with him yesterday. We finished the roast and trimmings yesterday (very rare not to have leftovers) so breakfast was cereal, toast, cookies, potato curry, khidchi and puris and I didn't fancy cereal or toast.

Microgal · 26/12/2024 12:48

CMOTDibbler · 26/12/2024 11:22

I had trifle. We always have trifle for breakfast from christmas morning to whenever it is finished

Me too 🤣🤣

Jellycatspyjamas · 26/12/2024 12:52

Bacon in freshly baked rolls this morning, I’m sitting reading my book working my way through a box of matchmakers. Dinner will be ham, egg and chips. I’m looking forward to it almost as much as Christmas dinner yesterday.

Greyrockin · 26/12/2024 12:59

I had the dessert that I was too full to eat yesterday - sticky apple pudding and custard. Just about to make a hash type lunch from yesterday's leftovers.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 26/12/2024 12:59

I had jam on toast, so yeah. I'll be having a sausage and hot honey barm for lunch. Curry for dinner. Yesterday's leftovers were divided between the freezer, guest doggy bags and the bin (stuff that wasn't suitable for freezing and guests didn't take).

TheSomething · 26/12/2024 12:59

I had a doorstep thick slice of tiger bread toasted, buttered with salted butter and then lovely black cherry jam on top.

Ohnonotmeagain · 26/12/2024 13:08

nutsandraisinsrock · 26/12/2024 11:39

I gave up sugar a few months ago and haven't broken it once over Xmas - feel great for it. Greek yogurt and seeds for me.

You do know Greek yoghurt contains sugar?

just checked the tub in my fridge and it’s about 5% sugars.

Barton10 · 26/12/2024 13:10

Half a chocolate Orange

Crunchymum · 26/12/2024 13:13

Kettle Chips and Lindor balls here. Although I fed everyone else a proper breakfast (porridge with fruit!) I just didn't get round to making my own.

We had some pitta, humus and salad for lunch as I'm doing our Christmas Dinner today (was out yesterday). Aim to serve about 5pm so we definitely needed a light lunch.

whatisforteamum · 26/12/2024 13:16

Toasted french bread...then I spotted the cold sprouts and parsnips in the fridge and had a couple.

Xiaoxiong · 26/12/2024 13:17

@Ohnonotmeagain I assume what @nutsandraisinsrock means is she gave up added/refined sugars, like you would find in sweetened flavoured yoghurt. The "sugars" listed on the side of plain greek yoghurt is just the natural lactose found in milk.

I had chia seeds soaked in milk, mixed with greek yoghurt and topped with berries and a bit of granola. Kids had junk cereal from one of those selection mini packs as a treat but I need to get that fibre in...

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/12/2024 13:18

Oh I’m so glad it’s not just me, lol. I had chocolate cake and cream for breakfast and it was awesome!

Xag · 26/12/2024 13:18

Normal breakfast (toast and marmite) but I think lunch is about to be cheese, Twiglets and Quality Street)

BalladOfBarry · 26/12/2024 13:42

Don't normally have breakfast but had 2 croissants today. Everyone else is eating cold stuffing balls and Yule log. Urgh. 😆
