Let this be the year that’s all the disappointed/frustrated/unhappy women make changes

Logged onto MN late yesterday eve after a lovely (but knackering!) say and the volume of posters with horrible, lazy, selfish, unhelpful, inept, critical, useless partners is shocking. What is wrong with men? DH isn’t perfect but he was up early, did most of the cooking, played with the kids and joined in all day and helped with the clean up without complaint or issue. Men should be there with us doing 50% and be a positive part of our lives! Not a pain in the arse, moany downer.

For those who’ve had a difficult Christmas- prioritise your happiness! Those staying with crap husbands ‘for this kids’ it doesn’t work! Life is too short.

Well said op. Not always easy I agree, but ridding yourself of a useless, toxic waste of space is always going to be better for you in the long run. Make 2025 a good year..

I couldn't agree more. It can be hugely difficult to make that change, even to make that decision, but if it's too big a thing to even contemplate just now at least start making little changes to 'feed' you, to nurture your soul. Your inner strength will be building up with every good deed you do for yourself.

And then we can take it from there Flowers
