Help me to decide which holiday duration

On mat leave so trying to save the pennies but equally want to book a ‘nice’ holiday to an all inclusive where we can relax. The destination is 3 hours away so not too long on the plane.

I don’t think option 2 makes much sense, but maybe it’s preferable as it would mean a lunchtime flight rather than a very late flight with a baby. But we would only gain an extra night sleep for £400 more, then have to go straight to the airport when we wake up. Baby will be 6 months.

Option 1:
7 nights.
£3150 total
Monday afternoon flight out, return flight 11pm the following Monday evening
7 full days to enjoy at the resort

Option 2:
6 nights.
£2700 total
Monday afternoon flight out, Sunday lunchtime flight back
5 full days to enjoy the resort

Option 3:
5 nights
£2300 total
Monday afternoon flight out, flight back on Saturday at 11pm
5 full days to enjoy at the resort

What would you choose and why?

None, sorry! We always get early morning flights out, and lunchtime flights back. On that last day, we just want breakfast and then leave.

Probably b, would hate flying back at that hour

Rowen32 · 25/12/2024 22:54

But option 1 obviously way better value money wise

I like to get as much time there as possible so option 1

tts baby will probably sleep on the plane whatever time it is at that age ime
