DH and I are now in our 60's. At the stage where we don't need anything.
We decided not to buy each other a gift. Both have enough perfumes and aftershaves,
Clothes etc etc
For the last 5 years we write 10 places we want to go or somewhere unusual to stay and draw out on Christmas day.
Must be in this country as now we are retired would like to see more of the UK.
We have been Edinburgh, lake District, Coventry, Stourbridge.
My list includes York, Bath, Isle of Wight, Aberystwyth plus a few other places.
This safes any stress over Christmas.
