Apologies if there is already a thread on this but I love hearing about gifts you are excited to give!

My mum asked for a book and I managed to get a signed copy, which I don’t think she’ll expect.

An air fryer for my dad. He loves mine.

Mum will hate it Grin

JustCuttinAboot · 24/12/2024 22:20

I got my mum a Scentsy plug in wall light she has admired.

Faz469 · 24/12/2024 22:21

I got soon to be hubby a personalised blanket off our boys. He's going to love it.

An art set, new clothes and some books for my eldest. She works very hard indeed and deserves then all. 🎅🏻

Sesame2011 · 24/12/2024 22:24

My nieces and nephews will be opening clues to see if they can figure out they have a new baby cousin on the way 🥰

coronafiona · 24/12/2024 22:25

Ah @Sesame2011 how lovely! Congratulations to you all xx

FluffyDiplodocus · 24/12/2024 22:27

My kids are getting an iPad which they won’t be expecting at all. I’ve put it right at the back of the tree so it’ll be one of the final things they open 😊

Pebbles16 · 24/12/2024 22:34

DM and DD have already opened theirs as they happen to be down under this year. The falamalam clubbed together to get them a relaxing weekend with massages etc - they deserve it and are v excited to book.

Jumperp · 24/12/2024 22:35

I got my 6 month old a bubble machine. I can’t wait to see her smile when she sees the bubbles!

Looks like there will be lots of delighted people on Christmas morning!

Gotabadfeelingaboutthis · 24/12/2024 22:40

My eldest is very musical and already plays piano. She asked for a "karaoke machine with a disco ball light attached to the top and a microphone on a stand".

She's honestly the sweetest, kindest, most hard working child. Tucking her into bed tonight she said to me
"I know it's a lot, but I know Santa will do his best and if he can't bring me that, I know he will bring me something that will make me happy, maybe just the microphone, but that's OK too".

Her little heart will explode when she sees that Santa did indeed manage to get her a karaoke machine, with the requisite disco ball light attached, and a microphone on a stand. It will make her year. Especially as her grandparents have paid for singing lessons for their gift to her 🥰

Dextybooboo · 24/12/2024 22:41

We've got dd 5 a desk and chair for her room. She's craft/ drawing mad. Not asked for it but I know she will feel the bees knees when she gets it. I'm so excited! We did of course get her what she asked for too!

Also got DF a vacuum he wanted out of the aldi special buys a while back. He was desperate for it and will just assume no1 got it but I did! Can't wait to see his face!

BlackChunkyBoots · 24/12/2024 22:42

A silk bonnet for my niece. She has thick curly hair and is of mixed heritage so I'm hoping this pricy item helps her keep her barnet knot free and shiny. I also bought her some silk scrunchies to reduce tugging.

whatisforteamum · 24/12/2024 22:43

My cats have been excited for their dreamies under the tree before I leave for work.
Tomorrow they have those tube things like frubes.
Cue the 5 am wake up all week 🥰🤣🤣

BabyDoge · 24/12/2024 22:45

DS has been keeping his Hot Wheels cars in an old shoebox which he's been looking after so carefully, so I've got him one of those big fancy garages. I am honestly so excited for him to open it, he's been so grateful about his little shoebox and it's just going to blow his mind.

PatchworkElmer · 24/12/2024 22:46

I’ve got DH a terrarium- a bit niche but he’s wanted one for years.

DS said earlier that the only thing he really wants from DH and I is a particular Lego set, but he knows it’s expensive and if he doesn’t get that’s ok and he’ll save up to buy it. We’ve got it for him.

CheatsAtScrabble · 24/12/2024 22:47

I bought my sister’s dog a squeaky toy. My lovely dc are teenagers, so whatever I get them they won’t be squealing with joy and rolling on the floor. But I can be very sure of a happy doggy!

PandaChopChop · 24/12/2024 22:54

Olivia Rodriguo tickets for the three of us here. I may not have a present from the DC but Santa definitely didn't forget me this year 😆
They are going to lose their minds. So excited to see their faces 😍

Other than that, DS has an alexa echo pop which I know he will be absolutely delighted with.
DD has already had some AG perfume from her uncle this evening and that has been the best present so far!

Anothercoffeeafter3 · 24/12/2024 22:55

Managed to track down a rare Hornby engine for 11 year old DS but it arrived broken when he got to test it. What he doesn't know is I got it repaired and it's under the tree.

Samandytimlucypeterolivia · 24/12/2024 22:59

For DS16 it’s the Apple Watch, he’s been angling for a new one the last 2 years because apparently his one is too old and don’t do updates any more.
DD - not from me but I’m excited to see her reaction to the Sabrina carpenter tickets my mum and sister bought her.

asco · 24/12/2024 23:02

I'm dying to see DS1 &2's faces when they see that Santa really is magic and HAS brought DS3 the easter egg he asked for - he's been adamant that he will get one and they have been telling him that not even Santa can do that as they are only made at easter time by the bunnies😂

momofonex · 24/12/2024 23:06

My son has been asking for the WWE monster truck for months - was literally the only thing he's been consistent about asking for

Well.. that and a baby sister 😁 no can do there I'm afraid!

But I can't wait to see his little face in the morning! 4 years old and is definitely the year he's truly understood the real excitement of it all

mumtoababygirl · 24/12/2024 23:08

I got my DD a crinkly tag toy which I think she’ll love. And I got DH the Home Alone Lego set. Hopefully he’ll love it

Sidebeforeself · 24/12/2024 23:18

These are all so lovely to read….pleeeease can posters come back tomorrow and let us know how the recipients reacted to their wonderful presents?!

EasterIssland · 24/12/2024 23:22

Telling my son we are going to Disney for his bday.

disclaimer last time I suggested Disney he said he’d prefer to go to Lego land 😂

LilyJessie · 24/12/2024 23:37

After years of losses, I'm finally at full term pregnancy (technically over due and waiting for baby to come any day now), and I got my mum a very pretty hanging ornament that says "nanny" from Etsy.
It wasn't the most expensive, but I've always wanted to get her something like that!
