There was a good one last year about people putting up with really rubbish sleeping arrangements: "I'm in my uncle's utility room sleeping on a ladder resting between the washing machine and the tumble dryer with my six nieces sleeping underneath" sort of thing.

Definitely odd sleeping arrangements - it lightened many a Christmas eve stress for me! I also like outrageous/CF behaviour as long as no Christmas is actually ruined in the process.

The ones where people actually say that it all worked out, bit of fun for everyone and no drama.

Oh I've seen a vomiting dds boyfriend one I think. And someone else's four year old vomited once so everyone says they have to cancel Christmas

Oh yes, those are always good! Everyone else’s food consumption is definitely all about me and making me feel bad about eating four plates of food and they are definitely anorexic/disordered/terrible people if they eat any less than me. 😂

And the hungry stuck at their ILs people are always breastfeeding.

I also like the ungrateful present threads because because I can feel smug about my completely unromantic system of telling DH exactly what I want.
