How many bowls, dinner plates and side plates do you have?

I collect my dinner service when I see it in charity shops. It’s what is now called vintage and I could feed a three course meal to 50 people if I had a table big enough (or a cook and a serving wench).

My best dinner service is 8.
Day to day we have about 5 plates and bowls, but have a spare set in garage if needed.

Only me.. but l have eight of everything.
Obviously sometimes family are here or friends.

I have 8 of everything in my “best” set we got for wedding gifts, and 6 of everyday stuff. It mixes and matches with the best though so then can be used together if we have loads of people round, and it still looks nice.

I have four each matching dinner plates, side plates and bowls. Plus two other dinner plates, two bigger cereal bowls and two bigger pizza plates.

Probably 12

12 of everything on the day to day stuff (white Ikea). About 8-10 on the slightly posher stuff.

I have 8 place settings, Dh loves everything to match. I'd like to get a miss match of older plates and things I like the look of but don't really mind the match. I did at least find a colour and pattern I like of the Luminarc ones.

I have 5 or 6 services, a lot inherited from my parents who were big on dinner parties in the 70s and 80s…8 settings per set, I think a couple of sets are soup bowl, salad plate, dinner plate, side plate and pudding bowl, plus some random casseroles etc. Fortunately I have a very big cupboard! I love using them
