Can any locals help with shopping recommendations to cover….
vintage clothes, comics/graphic novels, anime...
Forbidden planet type shops but independent (been to other FB lots).
is there an area where there’d be a few shops together?

Fresh Garbage on Rosemary Street although it's more goth/hippy than vintage!

As the owner of a fairly main stream teenager I m not much help, but wanted to wish you a fab trip.

The bus tour around the city is good fun if you want to do something touristy.

Fresh Garbage was where I hung out as a teenager and it's still going strong.

There's a bunch of charity shops on Botanic Avenue (Oxfam and British Red Cross) which have loads of great vintage stock if you can make it out there. About a 10-15 minute walk out of the city centre. Good book stores there too as it's close to the university.
