Does anyone work in a post office - is this possible?!

Is it possible for a post office to reprint a Special Deliv receipt from ca. 3 wks ago based on tracking number, date of purchase and amount of transaction?

(My item's been delivered but the recipient - online retailer - is saying it hasn't...I have the tracking number and screenshots of deliv conf, inc signature, photo, date and name of person signing, but not the bloody address!!)

There should be a pin drop on the tracking showing where it was delivered to? That would give you the exact location.

On the receipt should have the postcode on it.

It sounds like OP doesn’t have the receipt

They must have the receipt if they have the tracking number

Thanks all - I did have the receipt, hence was able to track online and take screenshots of proof of delivery, but since then I've lost the receipt 🙄

I've been back on the tracking pages and have screenshotted the delivery GPS coordinates (thanks @HollopingHooligans) so hopefully the retailer will accept that and process my refund...sooo frustrating though. Would heartily recommend that anyone sending a valuable item by Special Delivery or courier immediately takes a photo of the postage receipt (which is what I usually do!)
