Stuck in France with dogs due to ineptitude

Help. My daughter’s boyfriend is stuck in Calais as he forgot his dog needed a tapeworm treatment 24 hours before returning to the UK. Does anyone know of a vets that would do this on a Sunday please???

They can travel a short distance as do have cars.

Surely you'd find that info on Google?

There's a page on Facebook called 'map of recommended vets for tapeworm treatment '...advise they look on there.

There is a helpful group on Facebook AHC - animal health certificate U.K. that has a map of EU vets providing the tapeworm certification. I wouldn’t hold out much hope for a Sunday though.

Well yes you would assume Google is their friend but perhaps not necessary to post that!!

I don't know about France but UK vets don't open on Sundays other than vets4pets. Don't think they're in France so I expect it will be emergency care only.

Around Calais there are always vets looking to make a buck out of those who didn’t organised themselves in advance (or need help in an emergency). At the port they should have a list of numbers otherwise look online for the vétérinaire de garde today.
