Australia.

Obviously, it's hot over Christmas, and that affects what we have for Christmas lunch. (And it is - for our family at least - usually lunch when we have our celebration.) I'm hosting this year. On the menu: potato salad, green salad, some other sort of salad, baked ham, roast turkey, prawns, garlic bread, pudding, Christmas cake, and pavlova with fruit. The rest of the day will be spent in and out of the pool.

There is a tradition here where 'Santa' tours the area in a boat tossing lollies at kids on Christmas Eve; we usually go to that. We open our presents first thing Christmas morning.

I'm British but live in UAE and for this Christmas I'm on holiday in Thailand. Neither are Christian countries but there are Christmas trees and decorations absolutely everywhere! Christmas in the UAE is focused around Christian expats - it's a working day so unless you work in a school or it falls on a weekend, you either go to work or book the day as annual leave. There are hotels doing festive menus and turkey takeaways. We've sometimes gone out and sometimes cooked at home. It's warm enough to go to the beach or pool if you want to!
