I was on giffgaff for about 8 years but during the last year or so that I was with them I found I couldn't really use my phone much using their data. I remember sitting in a cafe trying to load webpages and it would take so long I would give up and wait til I got home so I could use wifi..
The worst time for me was going to blackpool for a week for work and having zero reception from as soon as I arrived to the moment i left, Couldn't make calls, send or recieve texts, couldn't use apps, check email etc so decided to leave at that point.
Ended up leaving and going over to EE. I now have reception but.. I have lost call waiting, If I'm on a call I have no idea if someone else calls me as you have to be on contract to get call waiting, I did try to sign up to sim only but was turned down. Call waiting is a must for me due to needing it for work..
Wondering if giffgaff is still slow when using data or has it improved over the last year or so? Thinking of going back but don't want to make a mistake.. I'm in the North West.
