All of my children are shift workers, medical, transport and catering. This means that we rarely spend the whole of Christmas together. I love it, the chance to spread out the celebrations and give individual attention to all couples. This year my youngest son and family are coming tomorrow. My eldest the following weekend and in between I am going to DD’ on Christmas Day.
When I was younger, I used to do the catering, anything up to 17 people. I did enjoy it but it was hard work and no real time to catch up.
