I am, I know it's a slow process but it's going to get lighter!

Yes, I always feel a psychological 'lift' on the shortest day. Even though I always subsequently realise that January and February are very looong months and it actually takes ages to start noticing the increased daylight! But nonetheless, yes I like the shortest day, it feels like a significant point.

The thing is we have Xmas to get us here and the focus and excitement on that but I find Jan /Feb!/ march really hard.

Oh gosh I don't even know how I did that quote! Sorry

So pleased! I like it light at 4am and dark at 9.30pm. Wish we could have that all year round.

I like it light at 4 am, but I like it light until 11pm, but I don't think I'd like it in winter when it's cold & wet.

I wouldn’t mind more light in winter even though it’s cold and wet. It would be nice to have the option of doing things in the evening in the dark - dog walking/running. Yes you can do these things in the dark but I don’t enjoy it. Not a fan of driving around in the dark and ferrying kids to sorts clubs in the dark.

I hate getting up in the dark and my body feels all wrong (and that is natural we are supposed to work with out circadian rhythms). I feel so awful. Much nicer to get up in the light.

I know this will never happen but I still don’t like the endless dark and can’t wait until mid Feb when it’s light at 5pm and 7.30am.
