Dental bridge..help!

Had a bridge fitted last monday .. using the canine and a back molar as abutment teeth. The temporary crowns had been fine but now the whole thing is in it's really not comfy. I know it will take time to get used to the feel of having 'all my teeth' again, but the bite is slightly off as the bridge teeth are bulkier than the temp crowns and so when I bite down the canine feels pulled and very sensitive.

Obviously Xmas.. can't do much about it, but in the NY if it hasn't settled at all I will go back. I feel like the bite needs adjusting but can they file down the porcelain teeth without having to remove the whole thing?

Any experience gratefully received!!!

Yes. Hopefully a minor correction will take care of it. But do go back. A misaligned bite can cause problems.
