According to TMZ Blake Lively is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment on the set of ‘It Ends With Us’.

According to the lawsuit, a meeting was held in regards to the hostile work environment. Blake demanded that Baldoni stop showing nude videos or images of women to her, no more mention of Baldoni's alleged previous "pornography addiction," no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew's genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake's weight, and no further mention of Blake's dead father and no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by Blake outside of the script Blake approved when signing onto the project.

Baldoni’s representative have denied the allegations and state this is an effort for Blake to rehabilitate her recent poor image.

Well there was the saying that asking for her weight wasn't offensive, there was the suggestion that it might have been appropriate to show nude unasked for photos, there was the suggestion that this is all merely a counter-smear, the suggestion that she only came up with the list after the social media campaign against her etc etc.

I think that people are just saying that everyone's entitled to their day in court.

We haven't seen all the evidence. If he did do it, I hope she will get a good outcome.

kirinm · 22/12/2024 13:32

@Moonfasa100 based on the EVIDENCE contained within text messages and emails that there was a smear campaign orchestrated against her, do you accept that happened or are you only going to accept it when he's had his day in court?

I'm not angry at you. I think your minimising of these allegations and constant questioning are pretty disgusting. That's all,

WizardOfAus · 22/12/2024 13:33

Moonfasa100 · 22/12/2024 13:25

Of course.

And no one has done that here.

Show me any post here where anyone has said what he did is ok

Why is she doing this such a long time after the film?

Moonfasa100 · Today 12:39

Regarding the texts that have been "leaked" showing Justin's agents saying she is going to ruin Blake livelys reputation. How would anyone have got those texts. How do we know they are true?

———-

Moonfasa100 · Today 12:39

I could easily make texts myself that say anything and that look like they are coming from a certain number.

There are apps that do this. Couldn't Blake livelys side have written these texts and pretend that they are written by Justin's agent?

——

Moonfasa100 · Today 12:41

But then surely the agent would delete everything before handing over her phone?

No, that's not what they are just saying.

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:33

@noblegiraffe but that’s surely the argument from Blake’s side? Wont JB just say the opposite & talk about script rewrites? It also doesn’t say anything about badgering tbf. I personally don’t think calling someone’s PT and asking about their weight is a horrendous thing to do to someone but everyone is different.

I 100% think his PR campaign did their job because that’s what PR is supposed to do, I’m not sure why people are shocked by this?

Again none of the things that I wrote there, said his behaviour was ok.

What I wrote, asked questions about the evidence.

How about trying to barge into someone's trailer when they are naked? Or trying to add sex scenes to a film that they didn't consent to?

What else do you think isn't actually that bad?

Moonfasa100 · 22/12/2024 13:36

Thank you. Exactly.

Nope. Not exactly.

I have free will. I'm allowed to ask questions about the evidence so far.

TinkerTiger · 22/12/2024 13:37

The text messages are DAMNING. The woman he hired even admits that she didn’t believe half of the narrative supporting him on social media at the time, on commented on how much people hate women. And used that to earn her 175k

And everyone else is entirely allowed to draw conclusions about you based on what you are posting where you seem to be trying to get this guy off the hook.

hamsandyams · 22/12/2024 13:39

noblegiraffe · 22/12/2024 10:26

I'm struggling to work out which parts are sexual harassment.

Seriously??

Fucking hell.

I know right, the bar is on the floor.

I'm not even a "support women" crusader, as I know women can and do lie too - but if my colleague was talking to me about a porn addiction, showing me videos of his naked wife (giving birth or not), trying to get into a room where I'm partially dressed and kissing me for longer than was required in the context of work, I'd hope to god the whole world could see that the behaviour was not okay.

I'm not sure why you are just having a go at me.

@radishknot has also written to you on this page, that we have just heard Blake livelys side so far.

What you write says a lot about you, in that you seem to think that you can control everyone else's opinions. You can't.

You also seem to think that everyone must think the exact same way that you do. Thats not realistic

Birdscratch · 22/12/2024 13:41

‘Innocent until proven guilty’ is about the right to a fair legal process. It describes our system where the burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove guilt.

Whenever a woman accuses a man of harassment or sexual assault and it’s discussed on here, someone always pops up to say innocent until proven guilty and that they can’t believe any accusations unless they see the evidence - as if they’re a juror on a criminal case! It only seems to apply when women are accusing men and only in cases of sexual misconduct. You never see a post saying ‘X is really difficult to work with and treats their staff like shit’ and have someone pop up and say where is your evidence? I won’t believe that unless it’s been tested in a court of law.

Some people seem to think ‘fair’ means starting from the belief that the man is innocent - and therefore that the woman is lying - until proven otherwise, rather than starting from a neutral point. Whenever I read about the lack of rape convictions in the U.K. I think of posters like this.

Of course going into a trailer without knocking is wrong. Adding sex scenes has nuance I think as directors often change things but of course it’s wrong to not inform the actors involved & get their consent. I haven’t said JB didn’t do these things.

No, if someone was accused of workplace harassment.

Evidence would also have to be provided for this.

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:43

Is she only suing JB?

What makes you think my ‘apologists’ comment didn’t include them?

heathspeedwell · 22/12/2024 13:44

I'm actually staggered that anyone can try to stick up for a creepy man who has clearly sexually harassed Blake Lively.

What he did was reprehensible and the evidence has been published by a highly respectable source.

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:45

I thought it was the other man who showed the naked birthing video?

Grow up noblegiraffe. You're being very extreme

People are allowed to question the evidence.

No one has said on here "it's great he sexually harassed her, how brilliant'.

We have all said "if he did, it's awful".

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:46

On its own and with a reason , probably not. As part of a pattern of harassment and awful behaviour, for no reason whatsoever and insisting on it it definitely is a big deal.
