According to TMZ Blake Lively is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment on the set of ‘It Ends With Us’.

According to the lawsuit, a meeting was held in regards to the hostile work environment. Blake demanded that Baldoni stop showing nude videos or images of women to her, no more mention of Baldoni's alleged previous "pornography addiction," no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew's genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake's weight, and no further mention of Blake's dead father and no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by Blake outside of the script Blake approved when signing onto the project.

Baldoni’s representative have denied the allegations and state this is an effort for Blake to rehabilitate her recent poor image.

It’s a power play between rich people trying to salvage their reputations.

I wouldn’t call sexual harassment power play personally.

From looking at previous cases.

Conor mcgregor was found guilty of sexual asssault this year by a court.

Sadly not in a criminal court.

Moonfasa100 · 22/12/2024 13:14

Do you want to add anything other than an emoji?

I could add 'fuck me, how naive are you?'

Moonfasa100 · 22/12/2024 13:16

noblegiraffe · 22/12/2024 13:13

🤦‍♀️

My point about conor mcgregor was this.

A poster said that rich powerful men are never found guilty of sexual assault.

I pointed out that conor mcgregor, who is very rich and very famous, was found guilty of sexual assault at court.

Many other rich and famous men have been found guilty at court too

Why be so aggressive.

Say your point.

You still haven't said much

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:17

I do think it’s odd there wasn’t an intimacy coordinator originally, I thought they were pretty standard these days.

Sadly not in a criminal court.

Blake Lively is not bringing Justin Baldoni to a criminal court either.

She is suing him for sexual harassment.

I didn't say rich powerful men are never found guilty. I asked where your confidence in the courts in deciding in favour of a woman over a powerful man in cases of sexual assault comes from.

Can you think of any rich, famous men who have got away with rape and sexual assault of women for years? Surely you can.

kirinm · 22/12/2024 13:19

@Moonfasa100 you're not saying it isn't true yet all your posts have tried to minimise the allegations and seemingly ignore the evidence - she had to fight for disclosure of the emails and text messages. That's not enough evidence for you?

What would be enough evidence for you?

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:19

Well ignoring the fact that sexual harassment is often about power, I thought it was obvious that I was referring to the PR war between them.

noblegiraffe · 22/12/2024 13:19

Some really bizarre apologists here.

MrsTerryPratchett · 22/12/2024 13:20

@Moonfasa100 the justice system is based on it. However, it's very clear that in most cases, men accused of sexual offending ARE guilty of it, regardless of whether they are FOUND guilty. The justice system is based on Blackstone's ratio, but that doesn't mean sensible women have to believe the clearly guilty men who go free.

We aren't on a jury. We don't need to believe clearly repulsive sex offender men.

I'm not sure why you're angry at me though.

He more than likely did do it. And if he did - he should be stopped.

I'm not saying his behaviours right.

I'm just saying that i let everyone have their day in court to defend themselves. Everyone has that right.

Remember when the woman accused Jim Carrey of infecting her with an STI, then it was found out that she had falsified records.

No one has apologised for him, so your term is not correct.

We simply said that both her and him are entitled to say their side in court.

That is the foundation of the justice system.

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:22

Sure, and badgering her personal trainer for that information and lying about why he wanted it is perfectly normal, right?

@noblegiraffe I never read he badgered for that info? So he was given it & then kept asking? And he doesn’t have a bad back & wasn’t required to lift her? Can you link to a source as I’ve not seen that?

Do you know what an apologist is?

Read everything and then come back and comment. Her document states that there is no scene where he lifts her. I posted that up thread.

Exactly. I was replying to the pp saying that sometimes powerful men do get found guilty in court and used McGregor as an example.

My point it’s that they don’t get found guilty in a criminal court, especially when it comes to alleged offences of a sexual nature.

Such offences are easy to hide and hard to prove. And unless there is blatant evidence the judicial system has to appetite to even try a prosecution. So no, I have no confidence in the courts. Criminal courts I should say.

Here you go.

Why do you think he asked her personal trainer for her weight and lied when he said it was for a lifting scene which didn't exist in the film?

Moonfasa100 · 22/12/2024 13:26

If he did what she says he did, she is right to try to stop him. I've said that too.

Radishknot · 22/12/2024 13:27

@FuckItItsFine so he made up there was a scene he had to lift her? I haven’t read that. I wonder if JB will settle.

roses2 · 22/12/2024 13:28

It's interesting that JB used the same PR firm that also worked against Amber Heard so although we sort of accept that JD was a chaotic drunk who texted his friend about killing, raping and burning his wife, AH remains the one who is considered unlikeable.

Didn't Amber Heard take a shit on his bed? I can't say she comes off great either.

Well there was the saying that asking for her weight wasn't offensive, there was the suggestion that it might have been appropriate to show nude unasked for photos, there was the suggestion that this is all merely a counter-smear, the suggestion that she only came up with the list after the social media campaign against her etc etc.
