Just For Fun

Does anyone have a makeup brush or item older than mine?

This (broken) blusher brush was in an M&S brush set gifted to me for Christmas 1985. I was 15, I'm now 54.

I've tried other brushes over the years but always go back to my old favourite.

I do regularly wash it so it's very clean!

I'm interested to hear your replies 🙂

Update: When I say item I mean makeup or cosmetic item 🙂

Can't beat yours, but I have a retractable blusher blush my friend bought me around 30 years ago, she died suddenly soon afterwards. I am loath to stop using it, even though half it's hairs are missing.

My Dad never throws anything away so I suspect he would win this hands down. The thing that comes to mind is a wooden hairbrush with fine bristles like for a baby or young child. He only has a small bit of hair so uses this. I remember this in my childhood house and I think it was my older sisters baby brush. It lurked in a drawer for years and he started using it again. DSis is turning 50 next month. I don't know if it has ever been cleaned
