As above really. Something that doesn't presume any prior knowlwdge and isn't a £100 textbook. Or if it is ££ then as long as there are cheaper and still useful earlier editions available that would be fine.

Is there a particular area of botany you want to learn about? I've studied horticulture and found the botany books a bit more heavy going. A textbook like Level 3 Principles of Horticulture covers basic botany and you can get a second hand copy really cheap on Amazon.

@Oatsamazing not really, not a scooby where to start so anything will do. I want to know a bit about the science I suppose. The lifecycle, what things are called, why things do what they do.
