Bit sick of recycling piling up in the house

The house is filled with cardboard, theres some in the conservatory, some in the utility room and then a big pile in the hallway on the side table meaning I cant reach the side lamp and everything keeps tumbling and slipping off (because the card isnt dead square) creating a mess

It stresses me out quite honestly

The 'cardboard bag' is full and doesnt get emptied very frequently so I have to hoard this stuff inside and its really annoying.

Then we have two little bins in the kitchen to put other recycling into which get taken out to the big bin from time to time, I just feel like Im living surrounded by rubbish

Those look huge! Ours are slightly larger than a kallax box.

We managed to get rid of some of it yesterday at a local site but all the bins were full and overflowing which meant we left it on the ground next to the bins like others had, its right on the cliff top so really blowy so it will be blowing all around

Compost it. (Rip up and wet it, mixed with garden waste.
Use it as weed suppressant on your veg patch/borders.

We have a communal recycling bin. One flat doesn't squash their recycling and puts it in in carrier bags so it takes up lots of space. We often can't use the bin for a week at a time. There's not much space in a flat to store it.
