Anyone else stressed out af?

This year it's all a bit much for me and the loud music and busyness is not sitting well with me. My heart is actually beating faster as I'm sitting here typing this. I just want a bit of peace and quiet and not to feel any pressure. I don't want people jostling with me in the supermarket and I don't want people calling out my house (yes, this is unreasonable), it's only small and it feels cramped. I would enjoy it if I had one of those big open kitchen diners with glass doors, but this is a miniscule terraced house! I think it doesn't help that I was kind of attacked this year (long story) and had other stressful life events. I really wish they wouldn't blast the Christmas music out at full volume so it hurts your ears. Anyone else?

Same. We have MIL sleeping on the sofa over Christmas and the new sofa is waiting in the hall, everywhere is a mess and she keeps ringing asking how it is going. I have to stay in because of deliveries but am desperate to go out for a walk.

Oh God, the waiting round for deliveries! Such a monumental waste of time and even worse when there's a problem and then you have to go through the returns process, as I am doing for several things at the moment.

Yes although I'm not sure if it's stress or anxiety /depression. Been struggling a lot this year with my mental health, and the hard work of prepping for Christmas (I'm hosting, including three adults staying over), has drained me completely. Trying to breathe and hoping to do a bit of yoga later.

Yes, I'm not sure either @MissyB1 . Yoga is a good call. I think it doesn't help that I've missed out on my normal exercise routine what with all the rushing around. Yoga/swim/long walk will set things straight again.

When we all had our mums (and it nearly always was mums) rushing around after us all as children, we didn't know how lucky we were, did we?
