Hi I’m a first time mum and I’m wondering as I know things change all the time.. when will I get my first child element will it be at 29weeks or will I have to wait until the baby is born. I live in wales United Kingdom

what do you mean by first child element?

I am guessing this is universal credit related. You wont get it till after the baby arrives.

It’s not child tax credits no more it’s child element in with your universal credit. I was pregnant with twins and lost one so been off work a while now and struggling to make ends meet so I’m just wonder do you still get it at 29weeks or do I have to wait till the baby is born??
