Payment from council

Hi I'm waiting for a payment from council- they said this could be another ten days to reach my account but it has been processed. Is it actually likely to take ten days or is this likely to be a @in case scenario"

this is compensation and will change our Christmas if it comes before

If the payment has actually been sent then it could take anywhere from 1 day to 7 days. If they mean that they’ve processed the paperwork and their financial department will make the payment within 10 days then it could be anytime at all, depends when they make the payment.
