Anyone else's child/ren ill?

DC are sick. Temps, vomiting, loose bowels/accidents. Anyone else having this with a week until Christmas?!😩

I think it's easier to ask if anyone's child is NOT ill! All the children around me are absolutely riddled at the moment! Excellent timing as always

Beginning of November we had the sickness bug. Three children and us. Terrible few weeks. We’ve also had the persistent cough ( brilliant at night) and runny nose. Then at the weekend the youngest started with a fever and loose stools, accidents, no vomiting ( yet). Eldest has been complaining of a headache and jaw pain. My friends kids have ear infections, chest infections and general lurgy. Lots of horrible stuff around

DC1 is 6 and is on day 2 of vomiting bug.
DC2 is 3 and so far is ok but at nursery so I'm sure there's all sorts going round there.
DC3 is 2 months and just had his first vaccinations earlier today so is now very irritable cos of those.

DH is off today and middle child at nursery. But tomorrow and Friday I will be alone with all 3 so I'm absolutely dreading that. How do I keep DC2 away from DC1 so he doesn't catch the bug???

@LegoHouse274 you can’t really. I wouldn’t stress yourself out trying to. We’ve had some sickness bugs that have only hit one child and others that have got all of us. I’ve always cleaned and sanitised, practised good hand hygiene. Some are just more contagious than others.

3 of my kids have coughs. One has had some kind of vomiting bug the last couple of days, but seems better now. The same child was sick a few weeks ago too. It's inevitable they get sick this time of year, I'd rather they get it out the way now before Christmas.
