Teeth whitening trays

Does anyone else hate these? I got them a few years ago on a Groupon and recently went back to my new dentist for whitening gels. The trays fit but it feels so uncomfortable. I'm on day 3 and need to somehow do another 10-11 days.

Did you get the dentist to check the fit of the trays?
whitening trays have to be a very precise fit , otherwise whitening solution leaks out onto gums and they can be uncomfortable.
Did a dentist take the impressions for the trays? It is a considerable skill and if these trays were made with impressions you took yourself it may well be they are a poor fit.
Finally do you use cold water to clean them as hot water will distort the trays making them a bad fit.

Hi after posting this I watched a you tube video. Turns out I wasn't attaching the nozzle and without this I was putting way too much gel in the tray. I used it tonight and voila no pain. Also will last longer - one tube lasted 3 nights only!
