Secret Santa

Please help me find a secret Santa present for the loveliest woman. Budget about £10. I don't know her massively well which makes it hard but she doesn't drink, has three boys (one a baby) she likes almond milk in her tea, doesn't read or like bath stuff 🫤 I'm really struggling!

She never has painted nails, doesn't seem to eat fancy cheese or anything, I've had hand cream and gloves rejected by a mutual close friend who said she's not keen.. what do I get this woman?! She's so nice and kind and so I want it to be decent but I'm honestly blank

If someone is difficult it has to be an Amazon voucher/some other voucher, or a quality candle, but those are more than £10. If someone doesn’t know me well I would rather I get to choose than accumulate something I don’t need or like.
Or if other threads are anything to go by then some out of date chocolates and used fluffy socks seem to be a hit. 👌

What drinks does she have almond milk in? Coffee or tea? Some nice coffee or a something like the thing pictured (don't know what they are called) tkmax do nice coffees and teas and that thing pictured you can get for about £10

How about an advent calendar of teas? I had one in a Secret Santa once, and I was delighted with it. I tried teas I would never otherwise have tried (not wanting to potentially waste money on some fancy stuff that I might not like) and discovered some new favourites.

Something like this oil diffuser? It's got 10% off and you can sometimes find the oils at Home Bargains for a quid or 2.

Luckypoppy · 17/12/2024 20:47

Just seen delivery on that is later! There will be others though.

A really nice set up herbal tea pukka tea

KindLemur · 17/12/2024 20:48

I think a lovely mug, selection of tea bags and some nice shortbread (m&s shortbread trees are nice)! I’ve done the same for a lovely colleague who doesn’t drink, doesn’t do baths/pampering, but loves a brew

littlemousebigcheese · 17/12/2024 20:48

Thank you everyone! Some good ideas here! It's so hard, she's really nice so I want it to be as thoughtful as possible but she's not 'into' anything obvious so I've got not clue

The molton brown baubles are nice - shower gel

KindLemur · 17/12/2024 20:49

Dunelm do a ‘tankard style mug’ in different patterns they’re a bit like fake Emma bridegwaters, which are about £4

The last one is cute! But a little over your price range. Sorry.

I second this. A little home made hamper is great. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate.

Or, if you have the ability and she has a name that works, songs featuring her name burnt on a CD as a compilation album. (Think names like Mary/Maria/Jane/Linda/Caroline/Carolina).

RedPanda2022 · 17/12/2024 20:52

Nice tin or box of tea bags?

InThePassengerSeat · 17/12/2024 20:53

I got a gorgeous make up bag with my initial on it from my Secret Santa last year. I loved it.

RedPanda2022 · 17/12/2024 20:53

And or some yummy biscuits - vegan if you aren’t sure if that is why she doesn’t have dairy milk in tea

SprigatitoYouAndIKnow · 17/12/2024 20:55

Eugh not a scented candle or diffuser if it was me. Perfume gives me migraine, so it would be straight to the charity shop. One of the many reasons I hate secret santa. Can you do an amazon voucher?

That's a lovely idea. Check that the biscuits are dairy-free, given that she takes non-dairy milk in her tea.

littlemousebigcheese · 18/12/2024 00:47

I love these ideas! I'm going to get a nice mug and some posh tea and then some dairy free biscuits! Thank you all so much
