It's raining outside but I'm happy, a deadline is much easier to achieve than I'd thought, and my new drugs appear to be very effective so I see an end to health problems. Happy here :)

Not a large amount, but randomly checked tesco clubcard vouchers (I don't really shop there often) and worked out I can have a £40 meal at Prezzo at some point soon, there's a wee bonus.
Don't have to go into the office this week, that's a saving in travel costs and will to live.

I’m having a very good day, I visited my DM in her nursing home and we had a lovely hour and a half together. She didn’t know who I am but she seems to like me.

Guy from work invited me to our work Christmas concert tonight. Our second not-date in a week 😙 (in my head it’s a date though!)

Aw, I got my mother a children's Christmas book today to go through and colour it in. She'll enjoy doing it together. Actually I would!

It's very hard when they age and it's not the same.

I've had a good day. Really nice dog walk first thing and it is her birthday too. I've been to a national trust house which had lovely Christmas tree set up in the house. Spent sill money in the shop, found a farm shop on the way back, more money. Found a trout fishery and smokehouse - more money. Then bought a couple of bits in Cook. Home now and I have overdone it. Fatigue set in and throat is sore but I've had a day of no responsibility so all good.

It's an hour past sunup here, but yesterday was a good day. The temperature had dropped back to the mid twenties after the horrible 42.5C on Monday, my curtain arrived and I got it hung, and I made good progress on a colourwork jumper I'm knitting.

I bought a lovely screen print from a charity shop and it turns out the artist is pretty well known.

I have a good day every day.
Got my shopping delivery no house work to do.
