Price of countrylife butter

The spreadable stuff; bought some a couple of weeks ago from Tesco for £4.95 for a 750g tub and it’s now £6.25!!! That’s a ridiculous increase in the space of a couple of weeks.

any recommendations for a good spreadable butter?

I really like CountryLife butter too. I think the price of all butter has gone up but I got a 750g tub on offer in Morrisons this week for £4.80.

Morrisons own brand (silver packaging) is ok.
Lidl's posh one (black packaging - I think it's Cornish Sea Salt) is nice but only 250g. They also do a Lurpak dupe. Aldi is worth a try too.

Ooh thank you, I’ll be next to Morrisons tomorrow so I’ll pop in. I got clover today but the kids can tell the difference so I’m not sure it’ll work.

thank you for the recommendations!

Agree the Lidl Lurpak dupe (Danpak) is acceptable to my fussy offspring. We like Yeo Valley spreadable best but generally get the Lidl one.

It's the price of Olive oil that is blowing my mind. It seems to double every time I blink. Always used to use fairly decent Spanish or Italian olive oil. Am now buying the cheapest, plastic bottled, own brand budget version I can find in Lidl or wherever and using it very sparingly.
