When would you worry/go to GP?

I've been feeling 'off' since Wednesday last week - starting to worry/feel very fed up!

Ill, but not ill enough to not work or anything, these are my symptoms:
Headache
Tummy/lower back cramps (on & off - similar to period is best description).
Subtle nausea
Very tired
Some on and off general aches

Kids had vomiting bug last weekend but I haven't been sick & they were better after 12-24 hours so don't think it's that.

Also don't think I'm pregnant, last period ended about 3 days before I started feeling unwell and husband was away for work so no opportunity 😂

When would you worry? Do you think it's a lingering virus or something? I feel like if I went to the GP I don't have enough to 'give' them anything to diagnose me if that makes sense!

Painkillers don't seem to help either.

This sounds exactly like how I have been feeling too. I’ve also head this since last Tuesday so nearly a week. I’m not completely over it but I have had a appetite today so I’m taking that it’s a good sign.
I don’t think a week is long enough to warrant a GP visit in my opinion. I’d give it another week. You may well have the same bug just reacting to it differently. I’ve been around people that have had a flu/vomiting virus so I’m guessing it’s that. If you think about it, if you haven’t actually been sick then it’s taking your body longer to clear the virus out of that makes sense? Although throwing up isn’t nice, it probably does get rid of it quicker.

If it's a virus, there's nothing the GP could do anyway.
I'd just ignore it - I wouldn't want to waste the GP's time.

Most of these kind of issues get better of their own accord eventually - what doctors call "therapeutic use of time".

@Errors I think you're right tbh - I did wonder if my immune system just dealing with the bug differently where I haven't been sick! Hope you're better soon!

@Cynic17 yeah I don't think a GP could help so definitely feels like wasting their time - just so fed up!!

Thank you, I hope you feel better soon.
If it helps, I have just been assuming that I am an absolute gangster for not being too ill with it 😂

Try a covid test. I had quite non specific symptoms with it when I had it- just felt odd/rough and had a temperature.

@Errors haha good way to look at it! Although at this point wish I was more like the kids and had it out my system after an intense few hours 😂

@Msmoonpie good shout re: Covid.

Just such an odd mix of symptoms that indivudally are too subtle to know what's even going on!!
