Can i eat christmas pudding while breastfeeding? just asking as it has brandy on it

Yes. You can even have a brandy (or other alcoholic tipple) when BF

My baby had shocking wind when I had Christmas pud and mince pies whilst breastfeeding. I blamed it on the dried fruit at the time.

If something is cooked with alcohol in it the alcohol evaporates anyway, its just there for flavour. Must admit I tried a glass of wine when breast feeding but it acted on the baby as if he had eaten a whole punnet of grapes (leave that to your imagination💩) so didn't do it again.
