Who was this actress??

Help! I saw an actress in a hot chocolate cafe today and I cannot for the life of me place her. It was lunchtime today and I've been trying to work out what I recognise her from with no luck 😣

Please help me!

I think I recognise her from TV, she's British, late 40s/50ish (disclaimer I'm rubbish at guessing ages!). Brunette with a fringe, big eyes, beautiful. I want to say she's been in a legal/medical/detective type programme. Serious not comedy. Don't think period dramas.

Argh. I know that's spectacularly vague but if anyone instantly knows who I mean pleeeaaaase put me out of my misery 😆

Thank you!

greengreyblue · 15/12/2024 21:20

Never heard or seen her before! That’s half an hour of my life gone. Glad for you op! 🙄

I’ve still not got over the Samantha Bond thread that almost ran to 40 pages - someone correctly said Samantha Bond on page 2 but the OP missed it…..

Never heard of her or recognise her from Google.

Middlemarch123 · 15/12/2024 21:22

Never heard of her.

Onlyvisiting · 15/12/2024 21:23

Claudia winkleman? Description sounds right but not the character..........

Especiallyforme · 15/12/2024 21:23

I don’t recognise her at all.

She looks a bit like Anna Friel.

PragmaticIsh · 15/12/2024 21:24

It's her top lip that makes her look like Kim C.

MaggieFS · 15/12/2024 21:24

Gosh, I've never heard of her but now I've looked her up - good work clocking her eyes like Kim Cattrall's!

Delphiniumandlupins · 15/12/2024 21:24

I recognise her face but not her name. And most pictures she doesn't have a fringe.

greengreyblue · 15/12/2024 21:25

Are you her op?

@teaplease
Thank you so much, I absolutely wouldn't have known her name.

I still think she has a similar look to kc though but it must just be me 😅

Thank you everyone 🤎 I have my life back!!

@Delphiniumandlupins Sorry, she had a fringe today and it looked right if that makes sense so I assumed she always had one

Glad I wasn't too far off with her age, I am useless at judging how old people are

Victoria Hamilton?

I did actually see Victoria Hamilton in a pub in Hampstead. (Not that that’s any help to the OP.) She’s gone very blonde.
