Does this folder exist? I can't own the only one?!

I have a folder that looks like a ringbinder but isn't - I need to replace the plastic wallets that go into it but can't work out what they might be called or what to search for. Everything I find is either a ringbinder with rings that open, or a document display folder with fixed transparent pocket pages.

This has 12 'rings' that aren't actually rings but discs that have raised edges. The plastic wallets just sort of slot/pat down onto the rings. They fit normal A4 pages inside.

Does anyone know what these might be called or where I can get the replacement wallets?!

I have no idea where it originally came from but it would have been at least 15 years ago....

It's a disc binder, search for 'discbound'

I think they are called disc rings and are used for journals, organisers, etc. Crafters use them to make their own planners and the like so there is a lot of stuff online for them. You can also buy the cutters that make the perforations.

I've got a feeling that Staples did a disc ring planner system years ago. Do you think it might have come from there if it is quite old? Arc it was called, I think.

I had the staples ones of these years ago. They were great. Bought a Snopake branded one on Amazon and it's rubbish. The pages just fall out.

Anyway, it's a disc bound file as PP said

You beauties! I knew Mumsnet would come through!

I would never have made the breakthrough that 'it's like a ringbinder but with discs' = 'disc binder'! Grin
