I honestly cannot buy something nice for my sisters horrid partner but do have to get a gift so wondering what I could get as a joint thing - but mainly for her !!Confused
They live together in her house so house stuff would be good . I'm thinking of spending around 50--70 pounds

Nice lamp in her taste?

Tbh @orangelotus we're soo risk averse in the UK and reluctant to be assertive with foolish people. (just me perhaps?)

You may find this harsh but I'd buy something wonderful for your sister at that generous price range, maybe a box of Maltesers for him?

Appreciate this may cause more problems than it's worth. What is she thinking staying with him though? 😞

Something you know she will like that looks like a generous present for both of them (but which you know that he really won't like). A heated blanket for sitting on the sofa? A lovely plant for the garden? A super le creuset (type) casserole? The perfect lampshade or rug? A new duvet cover set in that pretty floral design you know she will like but he will despise?

These are great ideas!
Yes ideally I'd like to appear kind and generous but with a signal to him that I see him!!
Hardly the Christmas spirit I know!!!
