Being signed off

had an incident at work. Been trying to get hold of my union all day. No luck I seem to keep getting cut off. I had posted about an injury sustained at work. They’re happy to sign me off. Just a stab in the dark but are there any union reps here…can they state injury creating stress? My worry is can the next employer access these records. Can it look bad being signed off

it surely the injury in itself is the cause of the sign off? rather than stress?

Yeah I’ve had to contact the gp again to ask for them to amend. It’s the head injury causing pre existing symptoms to be exacerbated.

is this anything to do with xmas party?

op this all sounds a real mess

i think the sooner you leave, your work can have a consistent employee and you’ll be happier

Are you the poster who is a teacher and had an incident with a child you teach, during your notice period?

If so I can see being attacked would be a case of signed off for stress rather than signed off for actual injury.

No. This is a work issue.

The Xmas party is not relevant to the issue.
