10mo Biting

my 10mo is always biting me i tried to stop him from it and he screams if i don't let him.. he bites my nipples cause i bf, bites my face, the skin around the breast, literally everywhere. and it hurts a lot. how to stop him doing that ☹️ he thinks it's funny cause he laughs, but when i start complaining ( saying AU, sometimes a bit loud) he gets scared and starts hugging me crying, but doesn't stop after. this might sound ridiculous and it probably is 😂 but just wondering if there is any way to stop it

No idea if this is the “right approach” but with mine I’d fairly firmly say no biting, put them on the floor, and walk away for a minute or two. He’ll most likely scream the place down. That’s okay. But he’ll also get the message that it’s not okay to bite you!

If you are reacting loudly then he loves your reaction as he thinks it’s funny, so he keeps repeating the behaviour so he can see your reaction again and again.

Next time he bites say ‘no’ quietly and firmly, put him down somewhere safe and walk away. Leave him for a minute or two. Do it on repeat, even if you are breastfeeding at the time. He will soon learn not to do it, but do try and keep your reaction calm and say ‘no’ rather than making a loud reaction. I had this with DS and he stopped doing it quite quickly.
