Emetophobic please reassure me

Kids was sick in DDs class today, right next to her chair.

I'm now on a 48 hour countdown in case she catches it.

The vomit was really near her - what are the chances of her escaping it

It depends on her immune system unfortunately and also what type of bug.
Norovirus for example is extremely contagious.
50/50 chance, but I would sort of prepare ahead of time ie leave some supplies in easy reach like a bowl/bucket so that if she needs to be sick it hopefully will be contained and you won't need to handle sheets etc.
