Washing capsules locks

Oh my god, what is it with washing detergent capsules having locks on the packets? It can be so hard to open them. I am like not everyone has a child at home that will open a box and play with them or eat them. Not everyone will need to lock them up. I know there are other kinds like powder and liquid that doesn't have locks on them butt still. Sometimes the best value are the capsules or sometimes the powder is out of stock. I don't like the liquid.

Not everyone has children and not everyone needs a child lock on a box of detergent. It took me nearly 10 minutes hacking at a box and in the end I had to get a knife and just stab it open. Defeating the child lock purpose.

Am I the only one that struggles with this?

Just decant them into a different container. If you use a fancy glass one that they always show on ridiculous TikTok videos then keep them in a dark cupboard incase they were in an opaque container for chemical rather than safety reasons as sunlight can degrade some materials.

Also, I bet you left the little stickers on the box that hold the top and bottom together - I've done that before as they are near invisible and made it impossible to open. I just get the ones in a zip lock bag now.

I think most functioning adults can manage to open a child lock box , do you have dyspraxia ?
