Moving to Chesham

I'm hoping to move to Chesham next year. Can anyone offer any advice on areas to look at / avoid?

I need to be on a bus route. Adult children so don't need to worry about schools.

I really like the old town, but not sure if I could find a house large enough. I have seen a house near Lye Green, just not sure about the area.

We were looking at Chesham as a possible place to move to. We need good links to London, but also like to be semi-rural. Kids all grown, but would want it to be a place they can return to. Can anyone tell me what that area is like please?
