Lands End children's clothes

Has Land's End stopped selling children's clothes in the UK? Their webpage does not have any on it at all, and when you search for them it returns no results. I am hoping this is just a webpage glitch as I like some of their stuff for DS.

Yes. I realised this a few months back. Gutted as I loved their swimwear for DD who has pectus carinatum and the large frill on the chest was fabulous for hiding it.

Plus they sold brushed cotton nighties in girls nightwear.

Thanks for the reply. I am very unhappy to hear this! I also loved the boys' swimsuits, as well as the tie-dye effect shirts. He has been wearing those since he was tiny.

I didn't realise it was a brand just thought it was a souvenir from lands end in Cornwall.

It’s a real shame, they did good quality clothes and always had a decent discount. My kids lived in their fleece lined leggings/joggers over winter.

QuestionableMouse · 22/12/2024 19:34

There's usually a decent amount of them for sale on Vinted. I've just bought two barely worn hoodies for my nephews.

MissRainbowBrite · 22/12/2024 19:34

Yes, they no longer sell them. DD had some amazing quality winter coats from there.

MarthaJonesPhone · 22/12/2024 19:35

I only just discovered this when I tried to buy the children winter costs. Their Explorer coats were brilliant. Its such a shame.

Friend messaged them (on FB) a couple of months back when trying to buy one of their excellent school ruck sacks & they responded that there was a tax or customs issue with selling kids clothes in the UK atm but were hoping to start again once it was resolved. Guess not yet...

What's changed? They've been selling here for a long time. Brexit was 2016 so I wonder if it's to do with their supply chain into the UK.

I can't get Vinted in Ireland unfortunately. Whereas Lands End ship here no problem.

Just came across this thread when I sat down to order all my favourite staples for the kids (good winter trousers, boots, swim trunks etc etc) to find there is nothing on the website!

Gutted, they always washed so well and were good quality. So sad, I hope it comes back and the facebook response pp mentioned wasn't just a cop out.

theDudesmummy · 11/01/2025 21:17

I also sat down with a list in my mind of the standard things I buy for DS at Lands End every year, especially swim trunks, and was very disappointed. My only consolation is that next year he is likely to fit a small man's size so I can buy the adult ones.

They were a great go-to for so many things. ☹️

BeanAround · 11/01/2025 22:14

A few brands that had a secondary line in kids clothing have stopped over recent years - we used to love Seasalt (best quality kids t-shirts) and got some cool kids stuff from Cos. I’m sure there’s others but I can’t think which?

i keep expecting Arket to give up but they’re holding on.

WomenInConstruction · 11/01/2025 23:59

It's a bit depressing I feel. As though choice and quality is shrinking.

APTITAN · 08/04/2025 23:04

There are niche brands out there taking up this space though.

Sunshine Collective, Frugi and Little green radicals do a similar job!
