Got a lot going on and some mental health difficulties at the minute and so I’m looking for something to distract myself with that isn’t scrolling social media.

Can anyone recommend a good phone game they are playing please? I like puzzle type things but open to anything!

Strands & Connections are good

Acunningruse · 09/12/2024 19:42

Yes as @Funkyslippers says all the New York Times games are good- Wordle, Connections, Strands, Letter Boxed (I was so engrossed this morning I almost missed my stop 🤣)

Scrabble Go

Not a word game but Triple Match is very easy if you're feeling stressed

Chronophoto- not a word game but guess the year of the photo, I find it historically interesting.

Pretty sure the above is the sign I need to get a life, or a shorter commute 🤣

I’ve got one that’s called ‘free offline games’ they are pretty mindless so you might want something more challenging but I really like them.

Tap color is like painting by numbers but digital. Free to play, i find it very very relaxing.

Block blast.
Jewels star.
Wordscapes.
Recently got solitaire, I can easily lose an hour playing that.

I'm on android, if that makes a difference. They're all free so I have to put up with loads of ads.

What about an old fashioned point and click mystery like Broken Sword, The Silent Age, Rusty Lake or Lost Echo?

user1474315215 · 09/12/2024 21:34

Toon Blast. I'm completely addicted, but it's a great distraction.

@ghostbusters switch the WiFi off on your phone and that should stop the ads.

I like any merge type games. If you play them through Mistplay, you get paid to pay too.
