When did you last have an eye test?

I’ve just realised that it’s been about twenty years since I last had one. Out of curiosity when did you last have an eye test?

I can see how people don't get the message if their parents didn't take them regularly as children. I am extremely short sighted and have always gone regularly, my parents are both glasses wearers so they always took me. So I took my DCs throughout childhood. Neither have ever had any eyesight issues, from age 19 they have to pay, eldest is now a student and has decided not to go this year because of the cost, I don't blame him really. So I can see how even people who go through childhood fall out of the system as adults especially if they don't work at computers and have an employers scheme (I get reminded through work each year as well as the optician). I will remind him again periodically though, he still gets letters here.

Im 50 and It will be 3 yrs this coming may. And i need one. My current prescription (my 1st ever) is wearing thin!

i only need them to work and reading/phone.

Yesterday! I have diabetes type 2 and deffo have had damage to my eyes. Also ageing problems too. I have corneas,, fluid at the back of eyes and ridges or something.
